Numerative is website dedicated to finite element modeling and simulation. In my varied career as a physicist, finite element software developer and analyst, I have most valued and enjoyed sharing the knowledge which I have learned from other technical websites, and from the literature. As a consultant I frequently acted as a bridge between academia and industry and between more abstract mathematical work and practical applications. I love working in a fast moving Silicon Valley MEMS company but I miss some of the educational aspects of consulting and have appreciated the work of others in the scientific and technical community in sharing their findings through the literature or online. Numerative is my attempt to give back to the community and scratch my teaching itch!
